Redesigned a Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 scene voicing the characters myself. This video shows my recording process and a breakdown of five audio layers: dialogue, ambience, Foley, SFX, and music. Learned a lot about frequency masking and kept elements separate for demonstration. Impersonating both was so much fun!

I'm Gio, a Brazilian audio designer in the UK with 15+ years across audio for games, film, TV, animation & music. I'm a sonic storyteller, driven by curiosity and a love for bringing narratives to life. From mobile to consoles/PC, I've collaborated with incredible composers, producers, and voice actors across a diverse genres & styles.
With a Master's in Creative Industries and a BA in Game Design, I actively give back to the games industry, sharing my passion as a Game Audio Tutor at ICMP - The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London, UK, empowering students with tools such as Reaper, Wwise, FMOD, and Unreal Engine 5, providing skills and knowledge to create immersive and dynamic audio experiences.
I'm a mentor for the Limit Break Program (2023-2024) supporting underrepresented and marginalized groups, I spot rising talent as a judge for the Audio category of Into Games HQ IG50 (2023-2025) in the UK and I'm Country Representative for Brazil in the Game Audio Latam group. Plus, I love sharing my knowledge through university lectures and workshops in classes for Game Development, Creative Sound Production, Business and Entrepreneurship and many more.
My ability to blend creative artistry with modern technical skills creates a unique signature sound that brings real identity to my audio work.

Giovane has allowed the company to not only raise the bar in audio design but launch that bar into the stratosphere and beyond. His technical ability to provide high-quality audio effects and soundtracks is only parallel to his sensibilities to reach into a player's soul via sound. He has a deep understanding of music and an incredible ability to enhance any concepts thrown at him. He can produce his own material and manage third-party creators both creatively and technically, proving a master at establishing much of the pipeline process of all projects that me and him were involved in. Some of the most memorable experiences I had where when Giovane would submit a video of his early implementations of character audio or over gameplay of a prototype, adding such richness to these experiences that always left my heart pounding stronger and left goosebumps at every new SFX realized.
